📚 First PTO Meeting – Wednesday, September 17 | 6:30 PM | School Library
Join us for our first PTO meeting of the year! We’ll be voting on the 2025–2026 budget and would love your input. Your voice helps ensure our efforts align with the needs and priorities of our families.
🏫 Open House – Thursday, September 11 | 5:30–7:30 PM
Come join us for Open House! The School Store will be open during the event.
Pro Tip: Pre-order your items online and pick them up at Open House — it’s faster and easier! In-person purchases will also be available. If you’re able to volunteer, please sign up via Membership Toolkit — we’d love your help!
🛍️ Under New Management: MPVA PTO School Store
Please welcome our new School Store volunteers: Ashley Jordan, Amanda Reynado, and Sondos Nassef! Each of them has stepped up to support every part of running the store, and we are so thankful for their help. Please be patient with us as we all learn together — we plan to begin delivering orders after Open House.
A huge thank you to Ruth Jones, who has been managing the store solo for several years. Her dedication to our students and school has been deeply appreciated!
💙 Coming Soon: We Are Meyerland Campaign!
Our main fall fundraiser, the We Are MPVA (WAM) campaign, runs from October 6th–31st with a goal of $30,000 (though we’re hoping to blow that out of the water!).
Funds raised support:
- Educational supplies and subscriptions
- Specialized magnet program needs
- Beautification efforts
- Teacher and student appreciation and incentives
- …and everything in between!
