Attention Greyhounds: Are You Ready to Race?
The MPVA Greyhound Grade Pie Race kicks off Friday February 27th and closes at 9pm Thursday March 5th. Each grade level - 6th, 7th, and 8th - will compete to see who raises the most money in that time, with students sharing their individual donation portal with friends and family.
Once we have a winning grade level, the MPVA PTO will run a random lottery of students in that grade who participated and 15 student representatives will be selected to pie some awesome volunteer teachers during A, B, and C lunches on Friday, March 6th.
Our goal is to create some friendly competition and have a lot of fun raising $20,000 to invest in updated technology - we hope to replace outdated and damaged Chromebooks, build a small reserve for new students and emergencies, and purchase SmartBoards for the SPED and music departments.
An email with more information will arrive early in the week and all links will go live at 8am Friday, February 27th, so let your grade level pride shine, keep your eyes on the pies, and get ready to race!
