Now that all the whipped cream has been cleaned up and teachers are safely back in their classrooms, we’re delighted to announce that 6th GRADE won the First Annual Greyhound Grade Pie Race! 

All together, we raised $11,000 in less than a week to support technology needs at MPVA. Bravo! Well done! Donating 6th grade students were put into a lottery and 15 lucky Greyhounds got to pie a teacher. Isn’t our staff the BEST? 

Let’s race again next year - for bragging rights, for the pie, and for the love of MPVA!

💙 PTO Leadership Needs You for the 2026–2027 School Year! Middle school is only three short years, and many of you have already spent several years supporting your elementary school PTOs. After all that time volunteering, it can feel like middle school is the moment to take a step back and catch your breath.

However, this stage of our kids’ lives is incredibly important, and our school community needs engaged families more than ever. Joining the PTO is a great way to stay connected, support our students and staff, and help shape the middle school experience for all of our kids.

8th Grade Parents,

As we head into the final semester of middle school, we can hardly believe how quickly the year is moving! If you haven’t had a chance yet, it’s not too late to take care of your 8th grade fees. Every contribution helps us finish the year strong and make these final months memorable for our students.

As we move into the spring semester, please be on the lookout for upcoming volunteer opportunities. Parents interested in volunteering should ensure they are VIPS approved(https://apps.raptortech.com/Apply/NjcyOmVuLVVT), as this will be required to participate. Taking care of this now will help things run smoothly as events approach.

Personalized yearbook ads purchased through Jostens(https://www.jostens.com) are only available for a limited time. Families who are interested should be sure to check their personal email for details and deadlines so they don’t miss this opportunity.
