MPVA PTO MORNING/AFTERCARE (ACP) PROGRAM 2023-24

MPVA PTO ACP is dedicated to offering a secure and inclusive environment for your student during the hours preceding and following every school day.

 

The purpose of ACP encompasses both addressing community needs and maintaining a sustainable funding
source to continue MPVA PTO's mission of supporting MPVA educators, staff and all students at MPVA.

 

This initiative is managed exclusively by MPVA PTO volunteers and operates independently from Meyerland PVA Middle School and (HISD).


 

Overview of Procedures and Fee Schedule 2023-24

 

Hours/Days of Operation

 

MORNING CARE: 7AM – Morning bell

 

AFTER CARE: 4PM - 6PM (strictly enforced)

 

Parent/Guardian or designated adults MUST enter the building to check out students in accordance with documented pick-up procedures. 

PICK-UP TIME IS STRICTLY ENFORCED, with a ten-minute grace period. Students will be removed from the program after THREE (3) late pick-ups.

MORNING AND AFTERNOON CARE is offered on every school day per the HISD Academic Calendar.  Care is not offered on weekends, school holidays or during emergency closures (including weather-related closings).

STUDENT ENROLLMENT DOES NOT ROLL OVER FROM PREVIOUS YEARS, ALL STUDENTS MUST COMPLETE THE 2023-24 REGISTRATION PACKET.

 

ANY UNPAID BALANCE MUST BE RESOLVED BEFORE STUDENT WILL BE ADMITTED FOR THE 2023-24 SCHOOL YEAR. 

 


 

Fee Schedule/Methods of Payment

 

MORNING/AFTERNOON CARE: $180 monthly (all inclusive).

 

Registration Fee: $75 (includes fee for August/June for accounts in good standing)

 

Drop-In Fee (after August): $75 per day (includes Registration Fee)

 


Accepted Methods of Payment:

 

1. MONTHLY/REGISTRATION/DROP-IN PAYMENTS MAY BE MADE BY CREDIT/DEBIT CARD HERE: ACP PAYMENTS 

 

DROP-IN STUDENTSParent/Guardian must pre-pay and have student submit copy of paid receipt to be admitted (Screenshots are acceptable). Parent/Guardian MUST have copy of paid receipt to pick up

 

Drop-In Students must have registration completed and approved before being admitted a second time.

 

2. MONTHLY PAYMENTS (ONLY) MAY BE MADE BY ZELLE (TREASURER@MPVAPTO.COM). (Include Student Name/ACP in memo section).  

 

ZELLE Payments are NOT ACCEPTED for Drop-In or Registration.

 

 NO CASH or CHECKS ACCEPTED

 

Unsettled account balances will be pursued through all debt collection methods at MPVA PTO discretion.
